I'm not a Union nor do I belong to a union not an illegal alien or and undocumented worker (tamato Tamato) not a major campaign contributor and therefor apparently no concern/interest to Patty Murray

Patty Murray is an unabashed advocate for NARAL/EMILY's List pro-choice politics. Although I deeply & vehemently disagree, she is good at what she does & a tireless public servant. For that, I give her 2 stars.

Given the undemocratic structure in the US political system, Sen. Murray does a good job. I am amazed that people blame Democrats for the health care mess, since the Republicans have been in control of the White House over half the time since Reagan started destroying our country with neoliberal policies that enriched his wealthy buddies.and in control of Congress for the majority of the past 2 decades. People need to wake up the the problems with: rich people controlling campaign finance rich people starting wars to enrich themselves and to control election results rich people not allowing people in the bottom half of the economic scale to vote rich people passing laws that enrich themselves at the expense of everyone else and then blaming poor people for the decline in most people's economic status.

HEALTH INSURANCE...I retired recently, at least thought I could. I had to take another job to AFFORD the $1600 a month for my wife and myself health insurance based on the worst legislation in American history; the UN-affordable care act! You are the poster child for term limits Patsy, and clearly clueless what real people have to pay for health insurance since you have over 50 choices and PAY NOTHING! You have two important things you can do to help the middle class; 1) RESIGN for incompetence, and 2) IF YOU STAY; SUPPORT PRESIDENT TRUMP IN MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN AFTER THE MESS OBAMA AND YOUR DEMOCRATS HAVE MADE OF HEALTH INSURANCE!

I often wonder, when reading the conservative rants, how people can be so selfish. As a thinking conservative, Michael Gerson so eloquently points out, the GOP has sold their soul to the devil when they got in bed with Trump. They have aligned themselves with policy and with morals that are truly disgusting and backward. To the extent that Patty Murray fights against the sickness that Trump represents, she is representing myself and the majority of Americans. If this was a true democracy, there would be laws against guns since most Americans want them. If it was a true democracy, Trump would not have been elected with a minority of the vote. If it was a true democracy, Dreamers would be citizens since that reflects what the majority want. By voting for a budget that did not include Dreamers, Patty failed me and thousands of others. There can be no halfway measures. Either be a democrat, or don't expect my vote.
