  They won't try to just sell you things and shove you out the door. The sales person spent a lot of time helping me find the best fit and was really attentive with all the small details in my purchase. Really loved shopping there.

  Ever since I got in to raw denim a couple of years back I wanted to visit a Self Edge. I recently decided to visit Portland so I HAD to stop by! I tried on a couple of items, which I was extremely happy to try instead of blind buying like I have in the past, and I decided to get a pin and a lighter! A must stop for denim aficionados!

  Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I tried on a ton of different sizes, models and brands and they help guide me to the right pair for me. Exactly the folks you want helping steer you through the experience. They could have easily been annoyed with my flip floppy decision making process but we're great the whole way through. You're definitely going to drop some serious coin on denim but this is the place. It seemed small at first but there is a lot of inventory. Eventually I had to stop looking or I would have bought more and gone broke. Then next thing I'd know, id have to use the bag my jeans came in to start panhandling out front. I'll be back for sure though.

  I have never spent a lot a pair of jeans. No more then a good pair of Levi's jeans. Tho, after my amazing experience at this small shop, I am going to start investing in real denim. There experience of the staff was top notch. I will no longer be spending my money on fast retail denim. Save your money and get the real stuff from people who care about you. They place maybe small tho you'll love selection of product. I'll be going back to even get a pair of boots. Check it out for yourself.

  Having tried another store without luck Self Edge was recommended to me. I walked in, described what I was looking for and was given suitable options. Jonathan was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to roll the pant legs to exactly the right length by just looking at me. I am a petite woman but found the perfect pair of jeans in a short amount of time. The first pair he picked were the ones I purchased after trying on three others. If you are looking for high quality goods and unmatched service go here. If you are looking for disposable cheap fashion move on. Best denim shopping experience of my life. Thank you Self Edge.
