Yes the facility needs to be updated but the staff was nothing but perfect. I was there in July of 2017 after a heart attack and both legs amputated. They took great care of me and spent time reassuring me and letting me know they cared.

My loved one died here, and I would never, ever recommend this facility to anyone!! The facility is old, rundown with very antiquated equipment. The air conditioner was broken, which I think negatively contributed to my Mom's ability to get better. They like to tout their affiliation with Banner Good Sam and are connected by a tunnel in case of emergencies. When she went into Code Blue, they never took her over to Good Sam. They have their own doctors and nurses and only "consult" with the medics at the hospital. I am still devastated that we did not have many choices on where to take our loved one for rehabilitation. Looking back, we tried to make the best decision for our loved one's long-term care. Unfortunately, this is not the place to take anyone you love to get better.

My husband, who came here in very serious condition, is being very well cared for. I'm amazed at the progress he's made. They are doing a great job of weaning him off the ventilator, and helping him start speech therapy. The wound care team is working hard to get his leg wounds healed. Everyone keeps him clean, and they turn him and shift his position often to prevent sores. They seem to know how hard to push him to do more things so he'll get stronger, but not so hard he has a setback. He had a lot of things going on, and so far they are working with all of them to get him better. The facility itself is aging and a little dingy, but the care seems first rate. If someone you know needs this kind of facility (Long Term Acute Care) I wouldn't hesitate to check this one out.
