  I am supremely happy with the work that was done on my guitar. My father took the first guitar I 0wned to Scott Ross. It was about 30 years old and had been very neglected. Dad showed up at my 45th birthday last week with the my refurbished Old Memphis Stratocaster . . I had to plug it in right away.!! The tone was sublime and I played about 10 songs in a row and it didn’t go out of tune.

  I needed to replace my sons broken cello and did not know anything about this instrument. After reading various good reviews on various websites I went to Scott Russ instruments in Merrick. The owner Scott took well over an hour educating me on Cellos to the point where I felt comfortable purchasing an instrument from him. To ensure I was getting a good quality instrument at a good price, I went on line and compared the quality and price to similar ones on line and felt confident that I got a great deal. He also spent time showing my son how to properly care for the instrument.My sons music instructor was very impressed with the Cello and thought we paid more than we actually had. I highly recommended Scott Russ music store and will only purchase instruments for my kids from him.

  They have a lot of different instruments. Not a huge selection of guitars. Staff was always nice. Been there a few times. Biggest collection of Leslie cabs and amps I have seen. Check out the trio guitar pedal. Very cool.

  I had my concert horn repaired and cleaned by the legend Rod Baltimore in this shop and his work was way beyond expectation. Scott the owner is also a great and very personable guy who is running an all around awesome music store. I have had a 2nd horn serviced with a major repair here. The level of service and just overall awesomeness by both Scott the owner and Rod the legendary repairman is nothing short of AMAZING.
