This school has a wonderful staff. Very knowledgeable and could easily garner offers from private schools and colleges. Schurr truly strives to get it's kids ready for College. I played football all 4 years and I must say, those were the best moments of my life. Win or lose, It was perfect. Great community, great students, great teachers. Class of 2012 what's up! Go. Fight. Win!

I came from a tiny school and now I'm here as a Schurr Spartan. I'm in the 9th grade, a freshman. You'd probably never find this post anyways or anyone for that matter because my voice is drowned out by the others and disappear and is always forgotten like usual. You'd probably never even check this page or see the opinions of other students so might as well. Even though it's been 5 days, just starting high school and all, it has been a bit fun but it really has so so many downsides to it. The teachers are confusing and don't tell you anything. I'm always confused by what they do and stuff. That's all I needed to say about the education. And now I posted something similar on the Macy review as well. I learned they have a peer counseling program now and I'm pretty upset this school doesn't have one or any programs that helps students make new friends. It would help a lot of kids like myself. I am not confident in myself, I have very, very, very, low self esteem, I can't make a single friend, I can't talk to anyone, I am very anti social, I am shy, I am very, very, quiet, I can't speak up for myself, I don't have a social life, I'm always secluded, I'm always lonely, I'm always by myself, no one listens to me, I am invisible, I am a ghost, literally no one notices me when I'm right in front of them, I am not important, I can always be replaced, I hate myself, people hate me, I'm not good at anything, I'm always drowned out, I am not popular, I never get attention, I always excluded, I am misunderstood, I am a loser, I am ugly, and I am always sad. I'm always crying on the inside. I have problems and issues that no one understands. When the teacher tells us to get in groups in Biology I always never find one. People always stare and probably think "Aww I feel bad". I always get some sort of pity from people. I always have to hold in my tears. It's the same thing as always. I'm almost used to it. I'm also upset people have moved on without me. People have forgotten about me as usual and toss me out like a used napkin when they're done with me. It's sad to see no one remembering me but I don't know why it bothers me when I see all my old friends passing by me not giving a care in the world. They don't even blink an eye when they see me! Even if I know them since pre school or kindergarten! When they see their new friends however, they laugh, giggle, smile, scream, yell, or whatever and get excited about seeing them again makes me feel worse than I already do because I always think "I should've done this..." "I shouldn't have done that..." And always, always, always "What would it be like to have someone to TRULY care about you?" Always hurts me on the inside and always breaks me. There is no way I can get past that. I'd rather get beat up and bullied than live like this forever. At least if I get bullied and beat up the bully will actually give me some attention for once and notice me finally. Anyways since no one will find this thanks for listening imaginary people. Sincerely, I'm a 9th grade freshman

If you are thinking about coming here for the football program well, forget it it's a freaking joke here. Pretty sad the freshmen coaches should step down and hire coaches that have experience and are on fire... I seen better Pop Warner coaches Out there that show kids exactly how to play the game well. First time in my life I seen lots of disappointed students on the football team that was discouraged and not taught anything. I build a lot of great players and made winners and champions out of them that never played ..and to see this BS ...wow!
