  Its good, but its not close to anything from Kansas City. Their "Kansas city" style sause is also far from what you'd get in KC. Regardless its the best BBQ I've found in Cally, but that's not saying a whole lot. Now the beer on the other hand is far better here and this place has one hell of a good collection.

  We went right before closing on a Sunday with a reservation and got right in. The server was super great but they were out a few things. Over all we enjoyed the majority of the meal. Its slightly pricey but the portions are huge so it helps. The pulled pork was delicious, the chicken was moist, the beans were great, the burnt ends could be more burnt for me but I like them extra burnt soo... mac n cheese was mediocre and while the hubs wasn't a fan of the sweet potato casserole thought they were pretty good but could have used more of the topping.

  The Hella Cali salad might beer the best salad I've ever had. The service was friendly and amazing!! Definitely will come back.

  Great place did not have to wait long to be seated I went to the Lakers game the Lakers won that day. the food was even better for the portions of food that you get well worth the money. The waiter was great the service was great we said outside it was a little cool that night but they have heaters they kept us warm enough to enjoy the evening I recommend that people go there after the game great place to have a dinner before or after the game

  Left a review on yelp. The food and service were good. But the mac and cheese sauce broke so it was grainy and didn't have any real flavor. I almost asked to go back in the kitchen and show them how to make some killer mac and cheese. Updated! I have to say the first time I visited I was really impressed, the service was great as was most of the food (except the Mac and cheese.) However this visit everything went down hill fast. Our service was not the greatest. It took almost 10 minutes to get my drink after we placed our drink orders, and we had to ask two or three times for water. I also had to get up and get knives and forks, we had to ask for plates when we got our appetizer. For the most part the food was good, the seasoned fries are awesome. My friend said his ribs tasted like he was sitting in front of a smoky camp fire (meaning too much smoke) and they didn't have a whole lot of meat on them. I didnt try them, they looked tender, but they also looked dry. There is still the problem of the Mac and cheese. It is grainy, the sauce was broken, and for the most part it just tasted like grease. I feel that I could have gone into the kitchen and made better right on the spot. All in all my opinion has changed, and i don't think I will be going back unless it us to buy the seasoning that they put on fries because as I said it is really amazing. I also find the place to be over priced.
