  Shady! There is no way to put into words how horrible this shop is. The owner of the shop Laith Asper is a fraud. He lies, cheets, and steals from good people. The most important reason to stay away from this shop is because the owner will waste your time. He'll tell you your car is ready to be picked up when it is not. When you get there he'll tell you to "come back in an hour"...then you come back and he'll say "tomorrow it will be ready, I swear to god"...then you go back the next day and it's still not done! When somebody calls to tell you that your car is all ready to be picked up, and you get there you find out it is not, what would you do? I almost lost it when it happened for the fourth time. I seriously thought of doing things I've only seen in the movies...But then I realized it was my fault for continuously going back knowing that he was lying the whole time, so I decided to just take my car and cut my losses. I didn't know I could take my anger to any higher level until I got into my car. I was blown away! There was a bag of doritos on my seat with crumbs all over the place, it smelled like cigarette smoke and there was ash all over my carpet with two holes burned into it, three items were stolen from my trunk, and I was missing an ac knob on my dash! I not only wasted all of my time, energy, and gas, I also paid him $1000(upfront) to drive my car around for 2 weeks. The owner still has not paid me back and I refuse to go back near his shop, because I value my time. Time is the most valuable commodity we have as humans and the reason I write such a negative review is to help discourage anyone who contemplates on going to Sandrock Gas & Auto Repair. Save your time, and prevent yourself from doing something stupid after getting so extremely angry.(If you go there, believe me you will) SAVE YOUR HEALTH AND AVOID THIS PLACE!! There is no way to deal with a lowlife scumbag like Laith Asper. Only God can deal with him in the end

  Most crooked mechanic in San Diego. We are a family business and all repairs done to our vehicles ended up even worst than before. For one smog check he took all day and he didn't even report it to the DMV! In other repairs tools where left inside the engine, cars ended up with oil prints inside, returned the cars with the gas almost gone. One estimate he gave me was for $400 for a part that I found in O'reilly for $20 and took 10 minutes to replace. This guy's business practices are insane plus overpriced. Avoid at all costs!
