  We used to order Il Salumaio at least twice a month! Soooo enjoyed the great quality at affordable prices, but since reopening not only our favorites are not part of the menu (gnocchi fromagi or pasta al formo!) but prices are too high for pasta, and no bread included anymore!. No sandwiches available either! And if pizza was what we liked, we could order to San Mateo directly (same family). Disappointed 😔

  There are few things better in life than alfresco dining on a hot summer night, especially when the wine is flowing. Il Salumaio holds it's own on a street jam packed with quality restaurants. If you're looking to indulge in a bottle of reasonably priced wine (or several) in an authentically causal Italian haunt, this is the place for you. The cold antipasti is superb, but don't be shy to order something more hearty -- especially the Parmigiana Melanzane (Eggplant Parm) served with a well balanced red sauce that is perfectly salty and sweet.

  My favorite Italian take-out. Always fresh, delicious, and true quality italian. Would recommend the pasta al forno and the bolognese.

  Ho cenato in quest' angolo di Napoli nella grande mela diverse volte, è come essere a casa ma dall'altra parte del mondo, il proprietario è sempre presente e simpaticissimo, le pietanze tipicamente saporite, perfette, mai pesanti. Tradizione e sapore, per tutti gli amanti della vera italia. Ci ritornerò! Persone che portano alta la bandiera dell'Italia nel mondo!
