  I was not born a Muslim. I was raised without religion but have been to many different churches, with beautiful stain glass images and large crosses bearing the prophet Jesus crucified. I am proud to attend the Muslim community center in its very modest environment and I learn so much that makes sense before prayers from Imam Alamin...he speaks to us from the heart about important current aspects of life and our role as Muslims. He breaks it down and you want to liaten. True Islam teaches us peace, love and unity and how we can help each other and our community.
