Our uber driver dropped us off here and recommended this place. Exciting to try it, we walked in with high hopes. Unfortunately, we were soon disappointed. The place was dead on a Friday night with none-attentive staff. We had a glass of ok wine and walked out.

Not only was the wine great, but the service was phenomenal! We got to try whatever we were considering and hit the happy hour for $5 glasses. The bartender (I can't remember her name) knowing that we were from out of town, was so helpful and basically made us a travel guide on the back of a menu! I definitely recommend this place!

The staff at San Diego Cellars are extremely friendly! They guide you through the wines and their tastes and make the atmosphere very relaxed and comfortable! The wine is always delicious, vibrant, and made on location and often times Todd (the owner) is working behind the bar so you can ask him all about what type of grapes he uses, different flavors he experiments with, etc. The chef creates some amazing appetizers as well! There's also an outdoor patio in the back that is really nice to sit back and relax in with some friends!

Great add to the little Italy area (it's a little pass waterfront). Staff are friendly and very helpful with helping you figure out what you want. They have tastings for $10 for six flights and best of all they have Santa Ynez Syrah. Very tasty. A cute, warm tucked away winery. A great place for a date or on a weekend afternoon to enjoy apps and a drunk or two to relax.
