In need. Me and my family had moved back to Denver from California and had saved up some money to get us back here and started again. We fell short on making our goals and ended up struggling for a bit. But we were blessed to have been led to Salvation Army for Help. The people there do not judge others and are the most nicest and kind hearted people you could no. They were able to help us get back on our feet and and took care of a few things for us that made our transition back here a good one. Yes there is goodness in the world and in people like the Salvation Army. Thanks again.

The people who work here seem very nice, and I know the Salvation Army does some good things. If you are here to inquire about renting parking from them, however, there is something you need to know. For $35 a month, you can park in their lot on nights and weekends. This is extremely helpful, because it can be almost impossible to park on the street at night here. But you have to have your car out by 7:30. Don't ever, ever oversleep or forget, because if you miss it by a few minutes your car will be gone. They towing company will be waiting, and they will tow. Trust me, it happened to me yesterday. And then you will find out the ransom (and it is a ransom) is 200 dollars. It's also worth noting that this towing company has a BBB rating of F.

The Salvation Army does not have "lookouts" or any other such conspirators. There are plenty of neighbors that LEGALLY pay for using the parking lot on a monthly basis and in 6 months that I have enjoyed working as a temp for them, I have yet to see them call a tow truck. Furthermore, they are loving and caring people...far from the picture you paint "thegreybetween".

The Salvation Army's mission is to help people in need. To respond to the person about their parking lot, they are trying to help people, not to provide parking for NON customers. I have know people that depend on them in times of need and they came through.
