  Sachi has done wonders with my hair. I have been in NYC for 20 years and haven’t been able to land that one hairdresser. She takes her time and really gets a feel for what you want and it comes out perfectly every time. It’s the first time I’ve ever had a hair dye too. She gave the best consult and my grey is gone, but it looks perfectly natural like my old hair. I’m so incredibly happy with my cut and dye. I’m using her as my regular for everything now!

  I’m thrilled with my cut! Cynthia was wonderful from start to finish. She truly understands curls and knows how to bring the best out of them. This cut really refreshed and brought volume and life back into my curls

  The Best Salon I have ever patronized. My stylist Sunshine is a god send. She is very much on top of her game. Professional, gracious , innovative and kind. Salon 718 is a such pleasure to visit. The atmosphere is light and there is an abundance of positive energy in the salon. I always leave happy and smiling. When I first arrived at the 80 DeKalb location my hair was a disaster . 3 years later my hair has grown longer and healthier due to Sunshine's expertise. The staff and other stylists are friendly, helpful and very courteous. The owner Michaela has really done a phenomenal job of creating a Salon environment that is welcoming, edgy , chic all at the same time. I always look forward to seeing Michaela in the salon she is just so nice. You look forward to your next visit. The salon is versatile and services all genders and hair types. I love the innovation and forward thinking of the Proprietor in conceiving this concept. There are multiple locations in Brooklyn. Like they say "Brooklyn Forever" I am also " Salon 718 Forever".

  Had a good first time experience with everyone there. was very friendly. Like my haircut but the color wasn't really what i expected. It came out like a little in the orange side. for the price it should have been a WOW factor. its very pricey why above my budget. Considering my hair was already short. Will i go back no i wont because its too pricey.. Overal it was ok.

  I watched Sunshine with her client before me and she was attentive, asked questions about how she wears her hair and took time to explain each step. when it came time for me to sit in her chair she was no different and she was beyond patient. so much so, i left the salon and came back 10 minutes later after deciding i wanted more hair cut off and she happily obliged. i entered with hair about 3 inches past my bra strap, thick, curly and a LOT to deal with and she never complained about it being too thick or long. she even went along with my IG video telling people not to be mad at her for cutting off my hair as it was my decision. i’m so happy to have found Sunshine - she’s good for my hair and my soul!
