  I let myself cool off before writing a review, because I was really pissed. I read this salon’s reviews online and decided I should give it a try. I booked an appointment with Crystal based on the fact that she was a senior designer. I went in she was really nice and friendly. I showed her the picture of the color I wanted. Mind you that I previously had a very light blond highligh on my hair and had not colored my roots for a few mounths. My roots are light brown. What I wanted was a combination of highlight and low lights with chocolate base and then caramel and copper high lights. She saw it and said ok. After 2 hours she removed all the many foils and my hair was dark dark brown, with very invisible highlights here and there ( you really had to squint to see them). Being a kind of person who gets really uncomfortable telling people they’ve messed up I did not say anything and listened to them complimenting me and let them take the picture of my hair ( which by the way they did not upload). After two days and after the first wash it got even worse. So I called in and said that my hair looks nothing that I wanted and asked for an appoinment to fix it. She mixed the colors and put them on my head very fast and left for another client. The rest of the job was done by one of the students there . Again she was really nice but she had trouble straightening my hair, so I could say she was very new. By the end I got some ginger highlights with weird contrasts. And she told me that for the next session we can try to achieve what I wanted, but I should understand because my base is dark brown, it is going to be difficult to get that highlight! Obviously I cancelled the next appointment. To sum it up I paid 300 $ for a hair color that I could do at home for 40 dollars. I changed my profile picture to one of the picturesI took of myself a day after my first session, so you can have a sense of what’s been done. I really don’t leave reviews, let alone bad reviews, but this one was a lot to take. Especially that one last sentence she told me about what I want being unachievable because of my base color that she kindly had given me.

  We love Lauren! She gives amazing haircuts. My boys have fine light blonde hair and she is the first stylist to nail it. It's now a family affair.
