  I've had my hair done my Kurt for the last year plus. In April, I left with a hair color and cut that I did not ask for. I was told once my hair was done that the salon doesn't have the color I asked for (which I had used three times before). He also thinned out my hair after I asked that he not thin it, telling me he knows hair and I don't. I wait almost three months, to let me hair grow out. I came in Saturday for blonde balayage. After applying bleach to almost my entire head, he left the salon to smoke, get water and I don't know what. After I'd been sitting with bleach on my head for almost an hour, I sent him a text asking him to check my hair. He washed and toned it, and noticed it was basically orange, because the salon didn't carry the toner I wanted. He applied a second toner, blow dried my hair and I left. When I got in the sun and looked at my hair, it was a combination of green (the front and ends) and orange (the back and underneath). I let him know about my hair and he said I could come back to fix it, but they still don't have the color I want. He offered a refund and after a few days I asked about the refund, he responded "lol, when I get time". I have worked at salons and had my hair done professionally for 13 years. Never have I seen a stylist leave a client in a chair and leave the salon for almost an hour (and not have another stylist check my hair), not give the client the hair results they ask for, and make jokes about client having green/orange hair. When I asked why he was so unprofessional he said "You micro-manage me". I feel like the client should be able to ask for what they want on their own head and get it (or at least honesty) from a stylist. I tried to give him another chance and return again, but it's clear that the quality of work is not going to improve

  This place is wonderful! The girls are lovely and very talented. I had a blow out and my makeup done and I am beyond happy! Highly recommend.

  Salon is always incredibly professional and located in an amazing spot. Paul Jesus is phenomenal and very reliable. Would recommend this Salon to all of my friends and family.

  I had such a great experience at Salon 1532, I wanted to share it. I got a recommendation after I got a terrible cut at another salon. Kurt reshaped my hair and colored it and now it looks fantastic! Honestly, this is the only salon I've been to where I really loved the result. The prices were reasonable, the staff was really nice, and they have a great atmosphere. Thanks Salon 1532 for saving me.
