  This is the worst hospital I have ever been to in my entire life. First the aggy lady in triage was not pleasant at all called my name and let the door slam in my face because I was moving to slow. I was in a car accident started having back and hip pain. This was the hospital closest. Once I said car accident and wasn't bleeding I was treated as if I really didn't matter, because I wasn't on a stretcher I was ignored for litually 2 hours. A nurse name Gina was the only nurse not walking around in circles very multitask seems as if she was running the whole emergency room and assisting others who I believe knew nothing about whatever position they're certified for. This hospital make all hospitals in essex county area the best in town. Very Very Very unprofessional close this hospital down.

  I have been trying to reach the primary care office for weeks now.I have left 3 messages and no return call yet.I only need some forms filled out,concerning my visits there.It has really been frustrating,is there perhaps someone i can talk to regarding this matter?

  I see mixed reviews here from good to bad to not so ok. But I am going to speak about the experience I had with my sister in the ER. About a month ago my sister and I decided to come to the ER with chest pain, she was seen right away. All kinds of test were done on her from EKG to CT-scan and one more that I can't remember right now. I would love to remember the name of the people who helped my sister. I do remember one particular nurse by the name of Alia, a per-diem nurse, I believe that's how you spell her name but man was she great.. Her patience with my sister was superb! That day the waiting room and ER was so packed, and I mean packed. But even being a busy night she kept her composure and professionalism. "St. Michael's you need more Nurses like her! The doctors who help my sister were also great, they all went above and beyond their call of duty, and for that my family and I say THANK YOU! Thank you St. Michael's Medical Center for doing your job.

  I like the environment here. The staff are usually bright and helpful. You don't feel judged based on colour or class. Always feel nice when I leave. Nice smiling faces and though doctor rotation changes, the new young doctors , mainly the males are kind to you. I usually go to the medical clinic. The ladies down there u go to for paperwork are very cool and warm also.

  Unbelieve. I can’t believe they call themselves a hospital. I recently had surgery so sitting upright was not an option for me. As soon as I arrived I requested a wheelchair. The front desk clerk, and a Spanish security guard both told me that they don’t have any wheelchairs available. I did my best to accommodate myself by laying down next to connected sectionals in the lobby on the marble desks. I waited two and half hours then along comes a wheelchair they claimed “they didn’t have.” I finally felt relieved then the the security guard said, “oh it’s not for you.” I don’t not want this to unnoticed! Extremely extremely extremely unacceptable. So upon violent exchange of words, nearly three hours later of being in severe pain and severe discomfort I finally get the “wheelchair they don’t have.”
