  This is a nice store to shop in. The staff, for the most part, are helpful and friendly, the store is well lite and with the exception of some milk products on Wednesday (when the ads appear) are available.

  This place is TERRIBLE! The worst grocery store ON THE PLANET! The check out lines are INSANE, always understaffed, and the MANAGER JADE wins the WORST EMPLOYEE AWARD! They are consistent....always horrible! 13 bucks and they BLAMED ME...um, you rang me up...then told me I had to wait in line AGAIN...LONG LINE to get reimbursed the money that they over charged by not scanning the correct bar code. Then JADE proceeded to lecture me! As I stated that it has taken 48 minutes for me to purchase a total of 8 items! The lines, the waiting to receive my refund....and rering my items...very poorly handled. DO NOT LECTURE CUSTOMERS when you are the reason for the mistakes! This Safeway is ALWAYS understaffed! I will never go there again. They lost my business for ever!

  This is without a doubt the worst supermarket i have ever been in. I have come here a few times over the year i have worked nearby, and it is always terrible. Shop here if you like spending 20 minutes in checkout, regardless of time of day or occupancy.

  I work at Georgetown Hospital as an Executive Assistant and I always have to get cakes and different things for events we have seriously last minute. I will drive an extra 10 minutes to go to this Safeway because I know they will accommodate me! They made a fresh sheet cake to feed 80 people with only 3 hours notice and it was perfect! The staff is friendly and helpful and pleasant.
