::The Clerks at this location are rude and unprofessional. I've been to this location numerous times, and everytime I go to this location I encounter a rude clerk. First of all this is the smallest Safeway in the city so they don't have much. Second everytime I go to this location the lines be so long. AVOID!!!

::Not a well run Safeway. Often, essential services like the meat counter are abandoned for long periods of time during business hours. Because of its location it struggles with shoplifting, and its solution has been to put many basic items under lock and key; however, there's not enough staff to provide "special assistance" in opening the locked cabinets, so simply buying soap becomes a project. Does not manage its waste well, creating tremendous odors on its loading dock.

::It's honestly the best supermarket downtown. Great place to shop, but it's a little cramped at checkout.

::Best Safeway in the city. Kept up, security keeps the bums out, great staff and fresh goods. Fast service for how busy it gets.

::Great Safeway store in the Townsend area. They have [huge] amazing breakfast burritos and sandwiches for 3.99! I don't even eat breakfast usually but it looks and smells so good, I had to try it!
