  Things are a bit expensive. Great place for alcohol ans produce.

  They are getting better with customer service. Seeing more smiles and polite. Means a lot too me.

  Stop by about 8:30 on a weeknight to find the doors locked on one end, go inside to find out that the bathrooms are also locked and see a group of vagrants hanging out in the coffee shop. Go to the counter to purchase the supplies for my son's project and ask how do you get a key to the bathroom to which they say no the bathrooms are locked well of course they're locked that's why I asked for a key. This is a simple customer service courtesy that cars has neglected over their many mergers and the last 20 years. Looks like Fred Meyers will see most of my money in the near future

  I was shopping for a client like I usually am and their loss provention followed me around like I was going to rob them blind!! Not to mention they weren't very good at their job and trying to be sneaky watching someone. I wanted to throw the groceries at them and say F@%$ you when I went to pay. Instead I brought them their cart and said don't worry I won't shop here again for making me feel like a thief and walked out!!!

  This Safeway/Carr's is always well-stocked, impeccably clean and bakes delicious olive bread every day. You can spot the store director all over the place in the isles, checkout lanes and parking lot retrieving carts - he takes a tremendous amount of ownership here. But seriously pick up some olive bread, toast it and enjoy with eggs for breakfast; it will change your life.
