  They're starting to have a pretty good selection of organic foods and I love their hot chicken wing bar!

  Selection is awesome. The customer service is horrible. Only 4 cashiers on a busy Saturday and they seem miserable from being overworked. I tried to add some humor with my cashier at checkout and it backfired. He asked if I play monopoly and I said yes but for only winning tickets. He gave me a dirty look and refused to speak friendly to me rest of transaction. He ruined my day!!! All for a few grocery items. Sheesh. GET SOME MORE CASHIERS SO EVERYBODY CAN BE HAPPY!!!

  Safeway is a premier supermarket, ultimate supermarket instore bakery in store butcher in store fish market. Also, banking and bill pay. Pay your electric bill you Camille. Do banking, right? In the store. The employees are all considerate polite and helpful more than willing to take the time to walk you directly to the item you're searching for.

  Not the cheapest store around but the selection is unbeatable. Clean, organized, and plenty of parking. I drive all the way from Wahiawa to find things here I can't get other places (well I might find them at other places, but I'd have to pay Whole Foods prices). This Safeway had everything from super local grinds to crunchy hippie chow. As someone who likes both, it's a perfect one stop shop. I always find something I haven't tried before, and I buy something new to try every visit (who knew dried kiwi fruit was so good?). Over all it's one of my favorite grocery stores. Just wish it wasn't so far away!

  Good national chain store, newer. Spacious, moderately comprehensive inventory, good flower section when flowers just arrived. Has a coffee shop with outdoor lanai, lots of covered parking, central location, and a Bank of Hawaii branch inside. Produce is good but of typical varieties, and adequate organic offerings. Specials are priced well.
