  I've only had a claim to get my car towed and service was delivered as stated from the agent. I was able to have them tow my car to a shop other than the one they offered. They should however increase the covered towing distance to more than 8 miles. I've found their renter's insurance rates to be some of the lowest for the coverage offered. Never had a claim there some cannot comment on that part of the service. Would have remained a customer for homeowners had they given me a better premium.

  If I could give them a zero I would. Please do not I repent do not use this insurance for nothing car, home nothing over price and don’t want to fix nothing. Make no sense I pay out but can’t get nothing fix.

  The worst mistake of my life was switching to Safeco on 2015 . They increased the premium every year & they are never there for you. They approve nothing . Just switched to Geico and saved more than 50% ! Huge difference .

  I wouldn't give it any stars if it were up to me! My home flooded a month ago and I can't get anyone to start working on it because they won't approve anything.

  I had to contact you on 1/22/18 for roadside assistance. It took 15 minutes to actually connect to someone, only to be told they had to check and find someone to come to me and to wait on a text. The text came in 5 minutes with company name (Cobra) and ETA of 6:04. I received an automated call saying help was coming in 30 minutes and that you'd check back after the ETA expired to ensure someone came. After 6:15, I called Cobra to see where they were, only to be told that Safeco called to remove them because they had someone who could come sooner. I'm upset because nobody from Safeco bothered to tell me who the alternate company was and it was past the ETA of Cobra's time, so whoever was supposed to be there sooner, obviously didn't make it. Now I had to call back, waiting another 15 minutes to get through only to be told they didn't see where any company was reassigned to the claim. Now I'm pissed because at 6:30, nobody was there. I'm in the dark, no lights with a child and Safeco canceled Cobra but didn't reassign a new company. I'd been there since 3:30 already but put the initial call in at 4:45PM, so I had been there entirely too long. Then to find out nobody was coming was completely unacceptable! Now I'm being told I have to wait on them to find another company with another 45 minute to an hour wait. Again, completely unacceptable. I'm a female siting in the dark for two hours with a child because of Safeco's negligence. I had another child that I couldn't get to before the daycare closed due to the long wait. I missed my son's physical therapy appointment due to the long wait. It was almost 7:30 before the second company came. Obviously these companies are not nearby so they are not quickly accessible. Had this been a life and death emergency or worse environment, my safety and life would be at risk. Again, I was already on the back of a school in the dark, no lights, with a child for hours due to this horrible service and negligence. I'm extremely unhappy and will not be renewing. I'm also shopping around to cancel my service immediately. Extremely unhappy.
