  Do not go here! All they care about is your money!!! I am pretty religious about going to the dentist every six months for a routine check-up and every once in awhile I will have a cavity. I went here for a simple check-up and ended up spending two hours here. At this appointment, Dr. Castro basically told me how screwed up my teeth were. She stated that I had 6 cavities, needed 3 root canals, jaw surgery, and I needed braces...again. I walked out there with a treatment plan costing over $4000 out of pocket. I cried because I was so upset and never had a dentist who they told me my teeth were so bad the way Dr. Castro did. I didn't even get my teeth cleaned. This dentist office only cares about one thing and one thing only, your money. They don't care about their patient. DONT GO HERE!

  Rather than giving out gift cards in exchange for Yelp reviews, this business needs to learn how to deal with angry customers . I have gone to this dentist office and its affiliated office in Placerville for 9 years. While I loved the Placerville office and staff, that isn't the case with Sacramento. I made an appointment for an expensive in-office teeth cleaning. I took off 3 hours from work, drove across town, paid for parking, and arrived on time. After a 10 minute wait, I found out that they did not have the gel they needed. Their stock hadn't come in. They tried to send me home with trays instead! While they were apologetic, what they should have done was call me as soon as the problem was known, rather than blaming it on the back office. They should have offered me a huge discount for wasting my time, instead of expecting me to simply reschedule. Expecting me to just accept an apology and return tells me that they don't understand the customer service concepts of taking responsibility and making amends. They did not show any respect for the amount of time and effort I spent to get to this appointment. My time is valuable. I will not return.

  Do not trust these people. Call your insurance to verify every single charge. I paid 200 for a filling which was covered by my insurance and today I went in for my first cleaning of the year and was told I would be charged 40 just for the cleaning and another optional 80.00 for fluoride!! Confirmed with my insurance and they said no charge, 2 free cleanings a year and no copay for fillings!! Such a rip off. The dr is nice but inexperienced. Best thing going for this place is a really nice looking and clean office interior.

  I had a great experience at this office! The staff is friendly and Dr. Mercado is awesome! He is gentle, knowledgeable, and pragmatic. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Mercado to anyone looking for a dentist.

  Best dental experience ive ever had in my life staff was friendly and knowledgable, and treated me kindly and courteous. I would recomend to all my family and friends
