  Loved it. We had dinner and the service was terrific. Our severs we're very attentive. They have a great wine selection, which makes it hard trying to choose. And the food was delicious. I ate far too much because I couldn't stop eating. And then, of course, we topped it off with espresso and desert.

  Our anniversary dinner, they put rose petals on the table, so sweet. Our server was attentive and nice. My food was yummy and plentiful. My husband ordered a t-bone and wrestled it for over half an hour at med rare, wouldn't reccomend that dish. Service was a bit slow, waited 25 minutes to get our drinks....and another 30 to 45 for our food, second drinks came towards us finishing our plates...so order 2 at a time maybe...lol. yummy but suprisingly slow. Also we were dressed nicely and being on the river walk there were a lot of people there in t-shirts and ball caps and with kids, really pulled the vibe down. It was also much more open, other Ruth Chris locations we have been to have a dress code, the waiters were very formal and it was a special experience. Last night was kind of like going to longhorn or roadhouse just an expensive dinner.

  My absolute favorite restaurant in San Antonio; period! I've been going here since they were located in old town San Antonio on the corner of Commerce. The new location is just as good. Not sure if they still have the big booths anymore(which were my favorite seats). Food is always exceptional and the servers are very attentive. I would definitely recommend! Would've given them 6 stars if it were an option.

  We loved the downtown Ruth's Chris when it was located in Sunset Station. After the restaurant was relocated to the Hyatt, the service and overall quality of food significantly declined. We have frequented the bar on a dozen or so occasions as the drinks and bar plates are decent, and we also had one satisfying dine-in experience. However, on our second dine-in attempt it was solidified that we will never return to this location. Flies were everywhere in the dining room. Inside of the preset wine glasses on the table and on our silverware. The waiter acted slightly annoyed when we requested a new setup - which was quite off putting given the less than sanitary condition of flies swarming around/in our glassware. After the new dish and glassware was brought out, we still had to cover our beverages to keep the flies at bay. Food was average at best. Steaks were inconsistently cooked - burned on one side and undercooked on the other. Service was terribly slow. Overall, the entire night was a reflection of the deterioration of what used to be a an example of fine dining excellence. Now, it's no better than any other fast food steak chain, whether you look at cleanliness, service or quality of food.
