  Looks great, good for friends or a date. 2 items were sold out from the menu when we visited. Good beer selection, staff were friendly. Fried chicken is excellent, the pork chop, well cooked and tasted great with the fava beans.

  Great ingredients which leads to amazing food. They have a small menu so their focus is on delivering the most awesome pallet, which they do in spades. Rusty the owner makes his customers feel right at home with that southern hospitality. 10/10 will visit again.

  Everything is fried, like it’s supposed to be in the South. But that’s simply not my cup of tea. Everyone voted Rusty’a while I wanted a salad. (By the way French press coffee is great). Putting only 4 start for absence of other “healthier” options to deep fried chicken and biscuits or grits. The food was good, but if you want something light or vegan, not the best option.

  I'm from the South, so coming here was like getting a little taste of home. We ordered the buttermilk fried chicken (a huge portion: leg, thigh, and breast) as well as the barbecue plate with pulled pork and hush puppies. Everything was delicious. Excellent draft beer selection, too. Also, Rusty came out and chatted with us--super nice guy! And he's from Charleston, so you know he's the real deal. We'll definitely be returning soon.

  Rough neighborhood but inside is nice and spacious. Food is good and satisfying. I chose grits instead of potatoes, I prefer creamy grits and these were more coarse but still hit the spot. The bacon had a hint if sweetness that I liked. Very reasonable prices.
