  It's great when you remember to bring cash. Their atm is down more than not. I don't understand not taking cards in this day and age. Raced here from across town and got here 15mins from closing and atm is down. Good grief what a let down. Good other wise.

  This place is a nice mom & pop like store tucked away off church street. with staff that are very welcoming. Mr. Russ -Doe is such a JOY to meet and welcomes all his customers. The owner & staff provides a personable experience to your visit. I ordered the chicken salad pita and the Philly cheese wrap when I visit. The lemon caked added to any order gives a nice finishing touch to your meal. The location is like a store-front with seating outside, try the rocking chairs on the front or the picnic area on the side. Enjoy! Tell Russ Nicole sent you!!!

  Last week, I met one of my most favorite guys ever! That guy is Mr. Russ, owner of Russ-Doe's Sandwich Shop!!! Six months ago, my boss brought me food back from Russ-Doe's for lunch one day. From what I remember, it was good! All this time later, I decided to visit the location for myself. The food was soooo good... I came back the NEXT day and ordered the SAME thing I had ordered the prior day!!! I met "Mr. Russ-Doe" (as I lovingly call him) as soon as I walked in, and we've been best buds ever since! Now... You MUST stop by and visit! Tell him the Nicoles sent ya!!! 😂😂He loves us! His team does too! Miss Jackie, Miss Francis, and the other ladies!!! ❤❤❤

  I really enjoyed going to Russ-Dos'e Sandwich Shop every morning for breakfast. Russ and the women that work for him and just awesome !! The food is really good and very inexpensive for what you get. I'd recommend it to anybody. I've been going there for years for breakfast and sometimes for lunch and everything I've got has always been really good. My hat is off to Russ and his crew... OoooRaaaH !!!

  Best bacon cheeseburger in town. A really great Philly cheese as well. Cash only but it doesn't take a lot to eat. Burger, chips and a drink for $8. Outdoor seating only. One of Jacksonville's hidden treasure.
