  I went to this pub on the night of my sisters graduation from nursing school. The place had an amazing website that said it had world culture foods and a beer tasting wall. Identify to scope out over 50 local bars in the area because I really wanted to find the right place for such a special occasion. I was so disappointed because not only did I recognize all of the “exotic beers” they had many on tap were out of order. Then it came time to eat and there kitchen closed up right before we ordered, we had come hungry and I read nowhere on their site that they closed the kitchen. The worst came last when I got my tab from the five beers my sister and I shared that evening. I owed $98.00! My sister had two angry orchards (an apple beer you can buy at Walmart for 6.99/6pack) and I had three dark beers one was dog fish ( 11.99/ 6 pack at a gas station I’m from AZ so that’s what they charge there) and my last beer was an oatmeal stout that is roughly similar in price. All together I have no idea what this place is bragging about, or their price rateds. I left so disappointed that my sister didn’t even get a decent celebration the night of her graduation and I felt very neglected by the staff and the DJ sucked. He had wanna be hip hop flop music, no good sounds coming out of that place. All this to say Ruins Pub you let me down, I will sincerely never come back to you again!

  ...The concept hear is very cool...Very hip and very chic... The beers are however ridiculously priced.. You pay by the ounce.. Pour your own beer.. Very cool atmosphere ..love the Decour...I would definitely recommend it with the note that don’t be surprised at a ridiculous bill ...but you’d a had a good time...!

  Cool digs, but was pretty unimpressed by the cleanliness of the place. The wall of beer had people reusing glasses with poor pour practices. Trash littered the floor. Under a few larger pieces of furniture it looked too have not been vacuumed in weeks. Bathroom reeked of ammonia. But, cool digs. I liked the bathtub couch.

  There is some pretty good food at Ruins. They have self serve beer taps which is a pretty cool concept. You scan a card and it adds to your bill and they have plenty of options for beer. I heard it is fun here on First Fridays so I will definitely go back for that sometime. Also, the decor is pretty unique here as well.

  .50 tacos were good for the price, and it had a decent beer selection (when will beer places understand that not every tap needs to be an IPA? There are other beers out there). Service is what holds this place back. Once the trivia group started, the server disappeared. It took 30 minutes to finally get the server to come over to pay, after walking around trying to find someone (the hostess was talking to tables, and the bartender was nowhere to be found). Not interested in going back
