  Alright so let me preface this by saying that I have had several amazing haircuts here by a stylist named Natalia. Her work has been fantastic and her service has been too. That said today left an impression that has me not wanting to return. I had scheduled a haircut online for today around a week ago. I wanted my haircut before I went home for a trip so I took the time to schedule it in advance. That said when the day in question came about I arrived on time for the haircut only to be nervously greeted by the receptionist who proceeded to tell me that the "manager" had allowed Natalia a week off of work ( fine enough) but they had neglected to call or email me to tell me not to waste my time and money commuting there and purchasing parking. There was no offer or restitution just a nervous apology. Again though, I have enjoyed my interactions with individual staff and have no problems with any of them specifically, save for maybe the "manager".

  Erika Hope was amazing! Visiting from out of town and was able to get a quick walk-in appointment. I left it up to Erika to cut it how she thought looked best and she exceeded my expectations! She had amazing attention to detail, great conversation and made me feel welcome and comfortable in a new and unfamiliar city. I typically am very particular and struggle with finding a great barber shop and salon but Rudy’s was excellent all thanks to Erika and staff. So grateful!

  I get my hair cut here often, competitive prices compared to other downtown barber shops. Megan usually cuts my hair and she is a god. I have had other barbers cut my hair and they also did a fantastic job. Get my haircut here months and never regret it. 5/5

  Showed up for a walk-in 10 mins before the hour and the stylists were booked for that next hour. 3 barbers had no-shows during that hour, but I had to wait because they had a “20-minute wait policy for appointments”. 2 of the 3 appointments showed up 20 minutes late. Fair enough- I waited 30 minutes with three empty chairs before I got my cut. Got my hair cut and it was really great. I made an appointment 1 month later because I liked the cut. 5 minutes after my scheduled cut time, I told them I was on my way and would be there in 5 minutes (10 minutes late). I was told they have appointments during the next half-hour and would not be able to fit me in and was rejected. First time I had to wait 30 minutes with 3 empty chairs and second time I was rejected with an appointment.

  I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I always get fantastic haircuts at this place! The staff is really friendly, and there are even cute dogs wandering around! Also, not sure if I’m supposed to review stylists by name, but what the heck! I get my hair cut by Megan and she does an *amazing* job every time. She is a master in her craft, and you can tell she really cares about making each of her clients look their very best. She also does the *best* fades ever.
