Excellent Blackened Red Fish. A must try, they have their own recipe for blackening it which is amazing! Our server (I forgot his name but I think it was Jeff) was very sweet. He took time to read out the specials to us and also pointed out some of his favorite items in the menu. As we were new to NOLA he also took out a map and pointed a few places we can go to, to enjoy the experience!

This place is wonderful. We ate here twice since being in New Orleans and both times the food was great. The only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is because we sat on the balcony for 20 minutes before being acknowledged then when they said they would be right back it took us another 10 before we decided to try for another table . We were seated at the bar because it was so busy and I am so thankful we were. Jasmine was fantastic and she even got me to try an oyster which I swore I never would. The red beans and rice were fantastic the husband had charbroiled oysters and he said they were delicious . Thank you Jasmine for a wonderful experience

We came here twice. The first time, it was quiet and empty for brunch. The food and service were amazing. The second time was awful. We waited over an hour to be seated. Then to top it off, we only saw our waitress two times and after 45 minutes of not being served and seeing others get their food first, we left.... Very disappointing.

New to the area from out of state. I ordered the local oysters and alligator bites. My boyfriend ordered the French onion soup and roast beef po boy. I would recommend going for the more expensive oysters. The alligator bites were good. I never had them and they were interesting to try. They didn’t come as a big meal, more like an appetizer! Perfect to share. The server was amazing though. All of the staff was super nice.

This is a conventional seafood restaurant. The French onion soup was pretty good. It is extremely overpriced and somehow my mimosa had bloody Mary mix in it. They charge $25 for about a quarter of a pound of peel and eat shrimp. That's right, you have to peel it yourself at that price. I'm concerned because the gumbo was lukewarm. Food safety should be the number one priority for a seafood restaurant, and I have to wonder if the gumbo was in the danger zone of temperatures and for how long. The seating arrangement is also pretty cramped at the back and people kept bumping into the chairs at our table while passing by. The men's restroom is also quite cramped. I do not feel that the experience was sufficient given the price.
