  I recently received a Reike treatment from Racquel and I have to say it was one of the best bodywork sessions I've had in a long time. I've had a lot of massage, acupuncture and other bodywork over the years, including Reike and it's obvious to me Racquel has a real gift for this work. She is incredibly intuitive and so seems to know just where the tightness and blockages are in my body and works on these areas with great gentleness, and yet the effects seem to go deep. Shortly after our session began, I started to feel more relaxed and balanced, and the tension in specific areas of my body began to diminish. But I also began to feel an overall sense of balance, well-being and deep relaxation. Racquel would check in with me occasionally and her gentle, kind demeanor made me feel very relaxed and open to whatever healing she might release. At the end of our session I felt a great sense of relaxation, but also of energy and best of all, I felt much more connected with my body. And since Racquel is also a yoga instructor, she was able to provide me with some very helpful movements and exercises I could do on my own at home to help maintain some of the great benefits I derived from our session. And to top it off, Racquel is one of the sweetest people you could ever meet which makes you feel very comfortable and must magnify the benefits of her marvelous touch. I highly recommend Racquel for anyone who wants any kind of healing, relaxing, releasing bodywork.

  I have been working with Root Wellness for over a year and am continually impressed by the depth of their knowledge of the human body, wellness and the mobility based exercises which promote health and vital strength. I am a former athlete and have been working out my entire life but Root Wellness has brought a different approach to my routine. I have never felt stronger or more flexible. I highly recommend working with Tiago and Root Wellness for anyone who is serious about building core functional strength and endurance that translates to every activity of your day.

  Raquel is one of the *BEST* Reiki practitioners I've ever had the pleasure of receiving healing from. She was able to intuitively sense long-standing areas of stagnation in my body. Her touch is truly powerful/magical as I could actually *feel* an energy buzz similar to when I receive acupuncture. Post session my body always feels clearer, freer, loved, and generally held by this world (as well as the beyond!!). Thank you R for sharing such a beautiful gift with the world! *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*♡♡

  I began working out with Tiago on the recommendation of a friend. I appreciate his attention to my personal goals but also my level of fitness and body limitations/injuries. I have made a lot of progress with him. I no longer have clicking in my knee, no more back pain and have lost 13 pounds. I would recommend him and his services to anyone who wants to work on their health and fitness!

  Having had the chance to work directly with the Root Wellness leadership team, I can't say enough. Attention to detail and consistent philosophy are two things that come to mind. When we first sat down I was unsure of how to my approach my fitness goals as i have never done much outside of my football workouts from high school and college. Tiago and team were able to simplify things for me and spoke about things like sustainability and balance. This attracted me because of how simple the approach is coinciding with a challenging program. The accountability from Root Wellness has never been lacking as i have held my them accountable just as they hold me accountable.. Over the past 5 years and working directly and at times indirectly; I have found myself to have lost 55lbs, 12 percent drop in body fat, and a sustainable way of life without any type of gimmick.
