This is a pretty cool building. I live on an 'interior' apartment and it is the most quiet space ive ever lived. The walls are doubled up so i get hardly any noise at all from surrounding units. That being said, I understand the apartments that are on the 'exterior' are subject to city noise. With regard to that i'll just point out that we live in one of the biggest citys in the world and its loud - to cope sometimes you have to wear ear plugs. Id argue that anyone who has posted a negative review of this property is the type that are never pleased unless they unequivocally get their way regardless to what is fair or right or even possible. What I mean to say is that if as a resident you have an issue, the MGT will work with you. Appliances are really nice and bathtubs are huge. Im 6ft, 200 lbs and have never had a bathtub i fit it - here my entire body can be submerged and that is pretty great.

They've designed this place to show very nicely, but failed to deliver with anything they show. Let me give you examples. I will start with the business office. At first glance (during your walk through) it looks like it maybe a great place to get work done. It has 3 MACs, 2 PCs, and a printer. Once you sign the lease, you quickly find out that NONE of it works. They dont provide paper and when you take initiative and purchase it yourself, you discover that the printer NEVER has ink and doesnt even connect to the wifi. The computers dont have a mouse or keyboard and if you go purchase a set, you discover that they are running such an old software version that you cant even open an email... I've been complaining about this for 3 months now and they haven't resolved the problem. Now lets talk about the rooftop. There are 4 fireplaces of which only 1 usually works and 8 TV's that (if you're lucky and extremely tech savvy) you maybe able to get 2 of them to work... The wifi and phone signals are so poor here its a joke. I have AT&T and Tmobile and forget about it. You will drop calls everywhere in this building. The pool looks nice, but prepare to have a doctors visit if you go in the water. Im not exaggerating. Hives and extremely irritated eyes due to poor pool maintenance. So if you get to see this before you're lured by the fake fountain in the "zen room" just know that it may look nice, but this place isn't functional and it certainly doesn't reflect the amount you would pay in rent.

Horrible management. Very much a computer says no kind of place for all the little Brittan fans. Pretty low end folks live there considering the price of the units. Apex and Atelier are much better choices.

Just like a bad last few months and breakup can sour your view of the entire relationship, the same is true with renting an apartment. To keep this short, we were told an incorrect timeline for Construction across the street. Three months turned into eighteen months of mid-night fire alarms across the street, walls being knocked down, and overall noise. The units themselves are beautiful, so we tried to tough it out til the end of construction, but once construction was done, the newly built plaza started featuring events and DJs. I work from home, so this made things difficult. The building has single pane windows that can't be changed and 7th St and Flower both have big bus stops on them and 7th St is a main avenue used by police and fire trucks. Sirens and buses will be a daily fact for you. Management is great until you have a problem you need dealt with in which case they will ignore you at best and be condescending at worst. The building is beautiful and the valet and day time concierge are great. (Night time security ranges from great to worryingly neglectful of their duties), so if you can get an interior unit and don't mind the lack of natural light, you might be ok as long as no major issues take you up to the management office.

Just moved in two months ago and I love living here. The Roosevelt is safe and the amenities are clean and useful. The location is awesome. It's easy to get to pharmacies, Fig at 7th, metro and bus stops.
