  we like eating at macaroni grill because it's close to church and easy for all of us to meet there right after church. after standing for a few minutes the hostess came to take our name and told us that since we were a big group (7)we had to wait like 15 minutes because there were no servers. what?! what do you mean? had it been just me and my husband we would have walked out, but my parents and kids and grandkids were meeting us there as well. again, it never fails. because we are always a "big group" we always end up getting cornered somewhere. i guess the servers never showed up because the girl working the bar was the one taking care of us. we had to constantly remind her to bring pepper for the oil plate, refills, cheese for our lunch plates. i blame this on management. you used to be on top of things. there was always someone at the front greeting and taking your name down, i remember seeing plenty of waiters/waitresses, everyone on top of everything. now we've got to beg for everything. might as well eat at home. very disappointing!

  Took awhile for anyone to notice us to seat us, had to ask for silverware and napkins after being served the appetizer. The food wasnt all that great. And obviously overpriced. Honestly just stick to Olive Garden.

  Waitress was distracted, very slow service. The pre-meal salad arrived 2 minutes before the main dish was served. Took too long for the server to even acknowledge our arrival. She committed our order to memory instead of writing it down so she had to come back and confirm what we ordered. She argued with my wife about the tea she was given which tasted funny instead of just bringing another. Pass this place up.

  Food was excellent, drinks were on point and great value (came during happy hour). Speed and attentiveness could have been better, took about 45 mins for the food to come out, but the bread and salad kept us occupied for a little while. Will return.

  Today I brought my friend to try this place because she had never tried it before. After we received our salads, there was a horrible smell coming from the kitchen. It was so bad that i almost threw up. Our waiter was really nice and said that he would try to figure something out. My friend overheard the waiter tell his manager that there were a lot of people complaining about the smell to which she replied "what do they want me to do about it?" in a sarcastic tone. We were eventually relocated to a farther table from the kitchen which helped a lot. When we got our food, it was cold and my friends pasta wasn't cooked all the way and parts of it were really hard. Because of this, she doesn't want to ever come back to this place. We were really disappointed
