  Very accommodating, room was good for the price, and they try to keep it up. I had items in my truck, and they were still there in the morning.

  It was nice. Traffic was terrible but total was nice. Staff was nice as well

  The Roadway is right by the freeway, which makes going anywhere in San Diego pretty easy. The rooms are nice.... especially for the price!! They're definitely clean and are spacious enough. The hotel is mostly a single-story, but I like that the parking lot cuz throughout the entire property so it makes it easy to bring things and from your car and to be able to park right in front of your room. The hotel is not very noisy, however it is on a busy Street, being next to the freeway and all. The staff is helpful and kind. Overall, I really like this place and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to stay in San Diego, or specifically Pacific Beach...

  Since I wrote my original review below things have gotten much worse. My room was really looking shabby with only half of the toilet paper holder actually attached to the wall. Where the other half should have been is just a hole. More concerning was the fact that the knob for the deadbolt was missing so I couldn't securely lock the door. In addition the carpet was very dirty. So I downgraded my review from 2 stars to 1 star. See pics. This is an old motel that was completely remodeled a few years ago. Unfortunately since then the owners have failed to maintain the property. The window has a horizontal blind that was broken and falling apart. Since the cords were ripped the blind couldn't be opened. It also doesn't close enough to block all of the outside light. The shower is tiny and the room is small but clean with a comfortable bed. The desk chair looked like something picked up for $10 at a garage sale with the fake leather surface peeling off. Certainly way over priced during the summer months but winter rates are reasonable.

  Located in Pacific Beach of San Diego, the rooms are surprisingly large and offer a fridge, coffee maker, and microwave in each room. Rooms are clean and a continental breakfast is available every morning. Competitively priced and worth the money. Quiet setting as well. I recommend staying there if you're in the area.
