Good place for a peaceful walk, good for the kids. It's easy to get lost if your not good with maps, mark your phones GPS every time you take a path. Don't forget the bug spray!

We went here one afternoon with friends and I enjoyed my walk here. I wouldn't call it a hike because it's all flat ground but you have multiple trails to choose from and the lake in the middle is beautiful. We saw many turtles here. They also have farm animals that you can meet and staff is friendly.

First time I've been here. It was really nice. A great place to walk, hike, and run. Nice park-like trails that are wide and gravel. Easy place to bring a baby in a stroller if you wanted. $6 to park in the main lot, but no fee after 4:30 or so (cannot remember the specific time) plus you can access trails from public roads that have plenty of free parking.

Wonderful art exhibits in Visitors Center and beautiful fauna, flora, nature and landscapes to view from the many trails throughout the Preserve. Not a place to rush through but a restful experience to take in leisurely and enjoy year round. Dress appropriately for the season, wear appropriate and comfortable footwear for the activities and weather. Runners allowed on carriage trails. No biking but strollers allowed. Dogs must be on leashes with mindful environmental cleanup. Share paths with horses and runners. Annual 5K and 10K fundraising races to maintain trails. An aesthetically healthful and rewarding experience to repeat again and again ! 😊

This is a great sunny getaway for the whole family of all ages. Trails are easy and not so hilly. It is also stroller/ buggy accessible. Fantastic way to get some fresh air and get in touch with nature. Just need to pay $6 for the parking but beyond 5.30pm it comes free. I love the foresty and scenic views. I'd definitely comeback here.
