  I’ve been a customer of Roar Beauty Salon since about the time they opened their location in Arksarben. And even though it’s a drive from Bennington to Arksarben (and there are many salons along the way), I have never skipped a haircut with Marissa. What I like about Marissa is that I feel like I learn something new (about my hair) every time. Sounds silly I know, but I don’t just want my hair to be cut by an expert - I want to be educated (and made a bit of an expert myself) about what my hair is doing, how to care for it better, how to style it, what products to use, etc. I’ve been in for a cut before and asked Marissa about a certain style and she has told me that with my hair’s natural growing tendencies, it probably won’t work. And instead of just telling me, she pulls out mirrors and shows me where my hair naturally grows from. I like the honesty and sincere opinion. Until finding Roar, I never had a haircut where I actually learned something about my hair. Again, sounds silly to want to be educated about your hair but I like that she’s the expert and she shares what she sees. I’ve even called Roar and asked Marissa specific hair questions over the phone and she takes the time for a phone consultation. Who else does that?! Roar is just great. Well worth the drive!

  Fabulous Aveda salon with a great decor. Staffed with talented artists. Full service salon (but no perms, that's the antithesis of Aveda Principles).

  Katie's been doing my highlights for years. I would never trust anyone else� I always feel beautiful and younger. It's priceless� The facials are wonderful and when she does my my eyebrows I feel like I just got a facelift! she specializes in eyebrows! my eyebrows are natural looking. I always feel refreshed and rejuvenated after my appointments�

  Just had my first experience at Roar. And let me tell you, this is the best place I have ever been! The staff is beyond amazing, and the decor is simply out of this world. One thing I loved is, everyone loves to help each other out. You don't find that in the salon world very often. They strive for customer satisfaction. cannot wait to come back here, especially to see Katie Daly!

  The atmosphere in this beauty parlor is so calm and inviting. The decor is breathtaking and when you walk in you are instantly greeted with a warm smile. The stylists at this salon are extremely talented and always aim to please. What sets this salon apart? The fact that when you walk out you will look and feel fabulous!
