  This place is terrible. They mishandled our reservations and we didn't have enough rooms/beds for our party. Then when we asked what else could be done they basically told us to deal with it. Got into the room only for the outlet to blow the breaker and completely blow my charger. Went downstairs to see what could be done they only offered to comp our parking. Parking $20.... iPhone charger $30+, it's just not equivalent. Then to top it off I went to get ice from the machine and I received ice, along with all the other crud that had been frozen in it. Called in to request some clean ice and well yeah you can pretty much guess their response, "Deal with it!" I understand nothing is perfect and there will always be a bad egg but unfortunately today was my bad egg i guess. I have stayed in some really questionable areas before but this experience takes 1st place.

  Very nice staff. Easy access to downtown. 8 minute walk from the riverwalk. Highly recommend this hotel. Great A/C in the room..... Super cold.

  The hotel was clean and well kept. The ramp to get up into the hotel parking is very steep and narrow while also being a two-way but they have a system of stop/go lights and corner mirrors which kept us from having any incidents. The location of the hotel is amazing. It's no more than a 15 minute walk from most downtown attractions or the market, and if you use the river shuttles you can get to most of San Antonio's attractions without having to worry about moving your car and finding parking elsewhere. I'll gladly be staying in this hotel again sometime in the future.

  Terribly rude staff, not helpful... The opposite of helpful after a long drive with my 3 month old baby. Construction was being done on the hotel but we were not told in advanced. Parking also costs extra but it did not say this where we booked online. The hotel was old, dingy, dirty, smells musty and is dark. The sheets and bedspread were visibly very DIRTY. The view was into a rooftop of more construction. The A/C unit ran loudly and difficult to moderate so although it was hot out we were actually cold and felt damp all night. Terrible.

  The hotel is just finishing up its renovations which are beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. It really is on the river and just a 5 minute walk to the River walk and is walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and sites to see. You do have to pay for parking but it is in a secure garage. The pool area is great. Outdoor but heated and lots of nice lounging furniture. Our room had a lovely view and small fridge. We were traveling with small children so this was just perfect. There is also a coffee shop, bar and restaurant on the 1st floor of the building. Overall its reasonably priced, beautiful, and a good location.
