  We spent last weekend at Riverview Campground when we were attending some activities at Baylor. We were quite impressed with the FHU pull through sites, dog park and salt water pool. It took us less than 15 minutes to get into downtown Waco. The campground is very clean and well maintained and the owner was very friendly and sweet. We will definitely stay there any time we need to be in the Waco area.

  This place smelt bad from the time we pulled in. It smells like sewage everywhere at the camp. The website is innacurate so call them to double check. The saltwater pool was nice and felt good for the Texas heat. The clubhouse was bare, and not very good. The way to the Brazos makes no sense even after being told where the access was.

  Great camp ground. We stayed three days. Connie was very helpful, gave us lots of information, even on places we didn't know we're in Waco area. Our campsite had mature trees. The whole campground had beautiful old hack berry and pecan trees. Squirrels kept us entertained till sundown when fireflies came out. Cardinals were flying in and out of trees all day. Nice, quiet.

  This campground left us baffled. We arrived here and, as the sign said, pulled up to the office to register. As we were in the office, the owner, a screaming banshee lady, came in yelling at us as to why we pulled past the stop sign, the sign that was not obvious to us, and ALL others, upon pulling in. She berated us, treated us like children and never came back to apologize for her actions. Our site was, in fact a cement pad, but other than that, it was nothing but dirt, stone and a really lousy site. We would never recommend this RV place to anyone.

  Far off the beaten path, 15 miles from Waco. Not very good sites, trailer on broken up concrete. Shower/ bathroom was dirty ( both genders). Floors not mopped in along time. Cobwebs coming down from ceiling. Old, chipped, dirty faucet sink. One person at a time per bathroom/shower room. Had some full time trailer settings that looked kind of trashy ( glad the people had a place to live, but this place DOES NOT DESERVE to be in the Good Sam listing book. We WOULD NOT return here, nor recommend this place to friends.
