  Except for the most hardest lamb chops we ordered we had them made a gain &again horrible . They were NOT good at all Otherwise fair. The sommelier was great The view and decor beautiful

  Not so clean place, 1500$ for a table, Music was ok, drinks are also Ok, Bottom line i wouldnt go there again.

  The scenery is beautiful! However, a night with friends to enjoy a meal, the portion of the tapas is Small. We were surprised! It was like Four SMALL pieces of lays fries style with a paste of avocado and 3-4 slices of Small - salmon, the price for that was High. Don't buy tapas.

  I came here with a group of friends for the new season of "Miami Spice" to check out the place. In a nutshell, the place is a mixed bag of experiences. It has some good things, but it also has a lot of bad things that ultimately outweigh the good. I'll start with the good: The venue is very pretty inside. It's a large, outdoor, open space by the water with expensive yachts passing by or parked at the restaurant. Everything is make of wood, giving the feel of being in a lounge-like boat deck. It has accent lighting everywhere with palm trees, plants and the downtown high rises all around you. It's definitely a cool looking place. The best part, however, was the food. With the exception of the dessert, the Miami Spice menu was excellent and so delicious. Also, by check-in into the Yelp app to you get a free glass of red/white wine. Now, on to the bad things: This place doesn't give a great first impression. It's located in a sketchy neighborhood with homeless sleeping on the side walk not even a full block from the restaurant. The parking situation is also terrible. With limited, dark, city parking spots, you'll be inclined to valet park which costs $15. To top that off, the valet staff was very limited so you end up waiting a while to get valet service. Perhaps, Uber is a better option. Once inside, we noticed the very pretty, model looking hostess with a small desk fan blowing her perfectly looking hair as the Miami club-music was playing in the restaurant's speakers, giving the impression she was in some kind of photo shoot. She barely acknowledged our existence as we told her we had a party of friends already waiting for us inside. As we walked inside the main area, it became obvious that the hostess was not using the fan to make her hair look good. It was there to keep herself from sweating her butt off as the whole place is outdoors with no A/C and a limited array fans that barely worked. Remember, this is Miami....in August! Really?! No A/C or working fans?!! Wow.... Once seated, It seems they completely forgot about us, as 40-50 minutes went by with no service and I had to tell the hostess about it to finally get a server on our table. By this point, we were hungry and sweating from the Miami humidity/heat as there wasn't any proper cooling. You would think that for such a fancy place with exorbitant prices, they would invest in more cooling options and better fans....but nope...that this place....even the bathrooms had no A/C and were tiny and uncomfortable. "River Yacht Sauna Club" should be the name of this place. Before I continue with the negatives. I want to add that our servers, once they actually served us, were very polite and accommodating. Unfortunately, the overall experience of the service was terrible, since everything takes forever. Be ready to spends hours in this place, sweating and waiting...a lot!! This place knows it has such terrible service that it automatically includes 18%-20% tip on everything you consume. Why bother including the tip yourself when the restaurant can do it for you? Lastly, the background club-like music was too loud. It was Saturday night in Miami and the DJ probably thought he/she was in the ULTRA music festival. To be fair, we kindly asked one of the servers to lower the music so we could actually hear each other at the table and they honored our request. Overall, avoid this place! It's ridiculously expensive and not worth your time. The owners of this place need to learn that with so many options for food out there, to keep customers coming back you have to have more than a nice looking place.

  Dined with my girlfriend this past Sunday. The Pros.. beautiful restaurant. The girl who greeted us was super friendly. The Cons: The area where the restaurant is located is sketchy. $20 for valet which should be complimentary to guests. Outdoor restaurant with no water mists; the fans are old and no one gets cool. Told us we couldn't get a seat by the water cause they were reserved. An hour and a half later and no one was sitting at those tables. The bathroom has no AC so it definitely was awful using it and it wasn't even fully cleaned with no paper towels to dry your hands. Dirty wine glasses and when sent back to the bar the waiter actually took a rag and tried to wipe the glasses clean (the inside of the glass) with the wine still in it. When called out, he finally changed the glasses. The food was good except the Lobster pasta; it had a very strong seafood taste and was $54! To top things off automatic 18% gratuity. How rude! Will never come back and as a person in yacht sales I wouldn't even bring clients here.
