  I have lived in NYC for 50 years and I was deprived for not ever visiting such a Beautiful Place in my hometown. Please visit the Bronx Zoo and enjoy the Bronx River as well.

  It's a nice little park, there is a picnic area, where many locals love jumping the fence just to have the upper hand when doing parties. There is a waterfall, u can fish there, but I wouldn't recommend it. The playground has sprinklers but 1 of the toddler sprinklers has been broken for a few years now. The others work, there is a toddler section and a big kid section. U can barbeque, but pets aren't allowed in the playground area. The bathrooms close around 4:30pm, and the park depends on the days might close 7 or 9pm or even later than that. It depends on parks and recreation. Its also next to the one of the zoo's entrance.

  Wonderful place to see the Bronx river and a nice area to sit down. I been there many times to take picture. I do walking sitting down and running. It's a nice park on a spring and summer time.
