  My daughter is on her 3rd season here at RCA. I see a few reviews stating closed practices , yes that's true , quite frankly some of the parents are too involved and interrupt classes with drama and the goal of this gym is to create winning, respectful, polite cheer teams. My kid has improved tremendously over the past 3 years and she loves the coaches. is it hard sometimes? yes but that the nature of completion cheer. and competition cheer is not for the faint hearted.

  I cannot say enough positive things about this gym! Rival started from humble beginnings and has continued to grow every year. The owner is always adding fantastic and highly qualified staff/coaches that truly care about the athletes. The facilities are top-notch and provide for a fun atmosphere. If you’re looking for a competitive gym with a family-friendly feel, Rival is a great choice!

  My daughter has cheered at Rival for 5 years. We love the Christian atmosphere and the wonderful coaching staff! It has been a wonderful blessing for our family. If you’re looking for a great Christian gym Rival is a perfect fit!!

  We just completed our first and final season at Rival. The staff was very welcoming when we first came to the gym but after the contracts were signed and our dues were paid everything changed. We were blindsided by ALL CLOSED PRACTICES. I was very uncomfortable with this but the owner refused to let any parents in. Girls would come out crying and when parents wanted to discuss the issue he turned them away. The staff assured the parents that they would call/meet with us on a different day. Which was a lie. To meet with the owner/staff you have to be persistent and continue to ask otherwise you will never get a meeting. Warning the gym owner has a terrible temper so discussing any issues with him is a waste of your time. Not to mention that he discusses personal issues with the parents that he considers "friends". Unfortunately, those parents are not his true friends and they share that information with others so everybody knows your business.

  Over the last four years my two daughters have been a part of the Rival Cheer Academy. I am so pleased to see them grow their skills in not only the sport but as strong Godly children being that the gym is christian based. The staff and coaches are very attentive to each athlete. The owner is always giving his all has the best attitude, with class and integrity. I am thankful to the Rival staff, coaches and Rival parents. The Rival Cheer Academy is an excellent all around gym, I attribute it to the great people that run this place. Furthermore, you will find the gym tidy and super clean.
