  Great small breakfast diner! Super crowded post church...but worth the wait. The food is prepared very well and is quite fresh. The staff have always been wonderful and the location is awesome.

  We were in town for a Volleyball tournament and found this place. I’ve been all over the country and this place has phenomenal food. The wait staff was pleasant and we had an amazing brunch. Thank you Rise-N-Shine. Can’t say enough good things!!

  So I got the idea to visit this restaurant after watching a jimmy Fallon skit where the owners actually stood up to ridiculous negative reviews and was huh I wonder if there’s anything like that in my area. I grew up in my grandmothers restaurant. I’ve been a server for about 10 years excluding a few breaks for office jobs, but I always come back because I love dining out, I love serving good food, and I love giving people the service I would want. There’s been a wait every time we’ve went, my sons are 1 & 2 so that can be a lot to manage, but they’re set up for it. The waiting area is nice with chairs set up, coloring sheets, you can go ahead and grab a coffee, and everyone is happy you are there. Once you’re sat the server is ready for you. I appreciate that too because I’m not just getting handed off to a dirty table with no one to take my order. The food is incredible and my standards are high for breakfast. If I can do it better at home I don’t want pay for it. The food comes out quick which is also greatly appreciated. Having 2 toddlers has changed how often I can truly enjoy dining out. This has been one of our go to spots for breakfast for about a year it’s always been fantastic.

  Great breakfast! Had an awesome breakfast with friends this morning. Wait time was minimal and staff was very friendly. Our waitress, Kayla, was super-friendly and helped us with the menu selections. We had the half order of French toast, Chicken Sausage Tacos and the Emory Omelette. Food portions were large and we all agreed this was one of the best breakfasts we have had in a while! We also enjoyed the lattes. We will definitely be back!

  I love a great brunch spot. Although the food was pretty good, service left a lot to be desired. The gentleman at the door who was the host was rude and basically chastised us because my friend who arrived first said we had a party of four and we instead had three. He made mention that next time we should be more clear as to who is arriving. I would have normally left a spot at that point, but we were pushed for time and wanted to meet and eat. Out waitress was not pleasant at all. She didn't ask if we wanted refills on water or soda and as she took our orders she was not too helpful when we asked about certain things on the menu. We had to ask for things like straws or silverware. She also didn't come check on us during the meal. Another waiter did. He was very pleasant. But not our waitress. We didn't see her again until she brought the check. The food was really good, but if I'm paying money to be somewhere I expect a certain level of basic service. We did not get that here.
