  My boyfriend and I went there yesterday and overall, the experience was very subpar—from the quality of the Acai bowls to the rude lady working on the truck. First, they list their rainbow bowls as $12.00 on their sign, but actually charge $12.50 per bowl. When I approached the women working the truck and asked her if there was a price change, she had this bewildered look on her face, squinted her eyes and immediately got aggressive telling me that I forgot to include tax. When I told her it was a .50 upcharge before tax and I had accounted for the tax, she continued to brush it off and said “that had always been the price.” I then suggested that if that’s always been the price then they should change the listed price lol. However, this was not my turn off to the place. For $12.50 a bowl, you do get a decent amount of fruit on top, but the Acai was horrible. It had a clumpy texture and was frozen, not creamy nor like a thick smoothie, as it should be. It was like Chewing on ice. My boyfriend also witnessed the lady working the truck breaking the Acai with a knife and not even blending it. For charging such high prices, you would expect quality product and service but that was clearly not the case. Would definitely not recommend and won’t be returning anytime soon. Update: I have attached the photos of the acai from that day so you can see how the acai is basically ice and clumpy.

  Big portions, even for the small. Husband and I got a rainbow and a berry bowl to split so we could try both. Rainbow was the best. This place has tons of fresh fruit and a small amount of frozen acai in comparison but very tasty. Staff was helpful and friendly even when we showed up 20min before closing.

  Great bowls but they usually never answer the phone in order to place to go orders. The message instructs you to leave your order on the voicemail and when you get there they say their voicemail doesn't work? This has happened multiple times so now I just go to Vale Foods as theirs is at least just as good along with great service.

  Their bowls are hands down, the best I've tried. They are always fresh and very flavorful. However, I'm giving 4 stars because their speed and customer service COULD be better. You wait a while for food that doesn't need to be cooked, just prepared and laid in a bowl. Even when I ordered over the phone and drove from Temple Terrace to Downtown ~15 minutes~ I still had to wait for my order when I arrived to the truck. I'm going to say that they are understaffed in there. There are usually 2 employees and they change between ringing you up and preparing the food. I think they should have 1 person focused on greeting guests and putting in orders/ charging everyone, and 2 separate employees making the bowls. When you arrive to the truck there are always other customers waiting and you don't know if they have placed an order or not, and none of the employees inside the truck greets you because they have their backs turned to you since they're busy preparing the bowls. So this can be improved.
