  She made my feet bleed and then insisted it needed to be done because she needed to get the cuticle out i cried and she told me that i was ( I can't remember the wording ) not very tough. I asked for a highlight and trim and to soften my bangs and she layered them so much i looked completely different and she did too many highlights it was like i went blonde completely. She didn't listen to what i asked for and insisted that she gave me a great deal but it was clear to me she was in a hurry to get me out of there since i was the last customer. I will never go there again it was traumatic!

  Rex's is an all in one stop shop: hair, nails, waxing, Chinese herbs & oils, and facials. Ann has her cosmetology license up for all to review. I can only attest to the hair, pedicure and her Tamu "miracle oil." I needed a change. I scheduled a perm with Ann & she delivered. My hair is heavy and there is a lot of it. I showed her a picture for reference, she conducted a brief consultation and evaluated my hair from top to bottom. She asked about my hair history and made recommendations made on that. She made certain to explain to me what her plan of action was; including how she planned on protecting the very porous ends I have. I love the new cut, style & wild curls. I'll still have to wait 72 hrs for the perm to settle and see what the final outcome is...but overall, I'm satisfied. As my hair was processing I elected for a pedicure and this is when I learned what sets Rex's apart from other nail shops. While a traditional cosmetic pedicure focuses on making your toenails look as good as possible, and gets rid of some dead skin, it ignores real problems and sometimes creates them. Ann gave me an unexpected medical pedicure. TMI: since a child, I've had a history of horrible cracked heels, nail discoloration & ingrown/overgrown toenails. Ann carefully looked at my feet, skin & each toe, than went to town! A medical pedicure is an esthetic and therapeutic foot care treatment. A medical pedicure is a non-invasive, dry procedure performed by highly skilled foot care specialists who combine podiatry with nail care.  Now, this Tamu oil...she had the other lady apply a few drops to my cracked heals & recommended I purchase the $25 bottle. I quickly looked online and for this brand & size it was a deal because I could take it home right than and there! At home: I'm putting it on my heels to continue the healing process, my daughter's eczema and the other ones acne scars. I'll post pictures of these areas in a month.

  My daughters and I have been coming to this Salon for about 8 months and we always get treated with a smile by both Ann and Dee these two woman are the best in town. Ann has worked on my fungus toe and I have no more fungus I'm growing a nice healthy toe nail I'm just thankful for her for caring about my fungus toe both of these ladies have big hearts. I'm telling every one in Tucson if you have a problem with any fungus toes or finger nail Ann is the lady to go to . Both Ann & Dee make a good team.

  The service was good. But they didn't really ask me how short I wanted my nails, they just cut them VERY short. Now it hurts whenever I do anything. And when they polished my nails the result was UNUVEN. Also, when they were removing my acrylic, they hurt me several times. Now my nails are super sensible. Acrylic removal for $10. Ann and Ti attended me. Wouldn't come again.

  My mother had a serious problem with fungus on her toes. Her toes were distorted and it was becoming painful to wear covered shoes. Ann worked on her toes and gave her Some oils to help treat he fungus. Her toes look great and she continues to visit Ann for treatment. I also had fungus on my feet and have seen dramatic changes. My feet feel soft and no more cracks. I highly recommend Rex salon. The staff is awesome. I wish them great success. Thank you Ann!!
