  Retro Rewind is simply the only place I will buy video games from, from now on. If you have ever been to game king, I’m sorry for you. The staff at that establishment is terribly rude but worse than that, don’t know anything about video games. It is a massively disconnected business, that has no place in this community. Retro Rewind however is a store made by a gamer, for gamers. Since Christmas last year they’ve aimed to capture the hearts, and a couple of bucks, of gamers in our local community and it is just terribly fun there. You really can feel the owners passion and love not only for the games he sells but the community who plays them. It’s what a hole in the wall game sore should be. Every game on the wall is a legacy to gaming and is arranged in a way that walking in to the store is walking not back in time but in to a museum that sells the art on the wall. There is even talks of hosting game nights and trade exchanges that I can’t wait to be a part of in the future! Retro Rewind has my heart, my wallet, and all the games old and new that I will buy from now on.

  So glad to have found this place. Awesome awesome awesome! I need to edit this review. This guy goes above and beyond anything and I mean anything that you will find anywhere else. I was looking for psp in town and when he got some in he called me. There was a slight problem with the unit I chose and not only did he allow me to test the other unit and exchange it but he personally called me and let me know the other unit was tested, he had talked to the seller, and threw in two games, the memory stick, and an awesome case for my trouble. This is the kind of shop us retro gamers need. Please support this guy. #1 retro store in Lexington.

  I've been to the store a couple of times and both times and was made to feel welcome both times. The selection is good and prices are fair. The owner seems more than happy to work with customers to make them happy. This store will be a regular stop on my search for retro games.

  The other guy needs to come back. He knows everything about everything retro inside and out and was the only reason I got what I wanted and needed. Other than that at least prices are good. In response to the owner's response... No, actually, the day in question you were the only worker and there was some guy hanging about. You were indeed talkative and happy and eager to be of service. Your tail wagging isn't in question in my initial review, your knowledge of the product you sell is. Three times I've been to your place, twice it was two guys working. On those two occasions that other guy is the one who talked about intricacies of the games I bought whilst you sir had a blank stare and barely managed to nod your head and mutter uh-huh. Deflecting my review by calling me out as a liar with an ulterior motive and insinuating that your former employee was less than honest seems juvenile. I was deliberately lighthearted in my original review and more than fair by tacking on the low prices quip. The naked truth is that you can be smiled at for a lowered price. You may know Mario but you didn't know Link.

  I've never reviewed a store in my whole life, but this is the one that deserves it. Lexington has needed a place like this for a long time. I'd recommend this store to anyone if they were looking for a place to get old school games at awesome prices. The staff was more than helpful in finding what I was looking for, I picked up some awesome titles that I was having trouble finding, getting them for way lower than what I would have paid for online. I am very impressed at their business model and definitely will find time to visit this store as much as I can!!!
