  This hotel is top notch from the breakfast to the rooms to the helpful staff. Keicia at the front desk was one of a kind during our visit. She took care of my daughter and 8 month pregnant wife in many ways which made our visit so memorable. Loida at the breakfast area was so kind and sweet to us, always looking to make our experience nicer. We travel A LOT as a family and this was our favorite hotel experience throughout the country.

  Absolutely fabulous. Esp families visiting the Mall area. Across 5 hotels we stayed in a family with two boys in a 15 day US trip including fancu Vegas hotels, we liked this the most

  This hotel has a great location, just blocks from the capital Mall and right around the corner from a metro station. The rooms were clean and modern, the beds comfortable. Our room had a kitchenette too. The staff were helpful and friendly. Downsides- not a lot of great food options closer by. We took ubers to all of our meals. Also there were a lot of kids at the hotel, running up and down the halls and making noise.

  Great Hotel and nice staff - renovations, not so much. Would have stayed elsewhere but website said "lobby renovations". Turns out no fitness center was advised after arrival by a paper taped to the elevator and all I got was "sorry". The fitness center should be identified as not available on the website. Amenities are not "nice to have" they're part of our choice and cost but only when management gives us the opportunity to know what's going on. They should have done better. Also this hotel doesn't recognize your rewards level and mobile app use. They require you to produce all your cards and information despite being in Marriott's program and using their app. Not typical of other Marriott's. I'd already had to suck up no fitness center; so maybe not that big a deal.

  Location is great, within a couple of blocks of the Capitol, Air and Space museum. Nice rooms, the suites are spacious for six of us. Pretty standard breakfast each morning, but the staff is so friendly! Kid-friendly for the most part. The pool is great for us to play. Anytime we have needed service, we have gotten it very quickly.
