This place is a hidden gem in St. Paul. Technically it's in Roseville, but close enough. It's a great place to go hiking on a nice day.

I was in awe when I saw this location it is wonderful. It was so close to us in a City in residential area. One would think that they were in more of a country area so it's really cool because you didn't have to go far for that feeling. I was also surprised how many birds and frogs were in this location. You could hear them singing if they were in a singing competition. There is paved trail and dirt trails. I specially like that there was markers that kind of told you where you were. Also areas to sit and relax and hear all the beautiful bird say. Only thing that was missing was a drinking fountain or water source of some kind. So don't be like me bring some water with you.

This is a nice park for taking my dog for a walk. More of a woods walking path than a park. Lots of hills & paved trail. Primative trails also.

Small, but such an amazing park. Discovered it on a first date and took searching to find out where it was to go back once again on my own. Saw deer and other wildlife in this wooded area.

Reservoir Woods is a minimally developed park in the midst of the city. I love wandering there, it's like a miniature state park but only 10 minutes from home. Loss of opportunities for hiking and nature watching. Today was awesome for snowshoeing. If you prefer paved trails there's one that runs through the park. It connects with several other area parks.
