Wow this place is over priced! I went in to buy some Super Nintendo games for my granddaughter who is really into the games her parents played. Well every one on her list was almost $20 more than eBay, but the real gut punch was a game called Pocky & Rocky 2, which they happened to have complete in the box, which I understand is high value as I am a collector myself, BUT this place is asking $1300 for it! I don’t mind spending money, as I am fortunate to have the means to be frivolous, but the same thing in the same condition was $300 less on eBay. Granted that game is an outlier in regard to the category I was looking at, but there wasn’t anything I saw of note that wasn’t overpriced. This is a neat store to browse, but not the best value for your money.

Comically overpriced NES games. Many games selling for 50-100% more than you can find them in other similar stores or on eBay. Even from a collector's standpoint, $65 for a game worth $25-40 is nuts. Games worth $10 priced at $20-$25, boxed games marked at $200 and up that won't bring more than $100-120 anywhere else. It's like the inventory came from eBay or other similar shops, and is then marked up from those prices. Sadly, they had 5 games I was looking for, but the bill would have ran over $400. I just bought the same carts on eBay (mind you, still somewhat overpriced) for just over $300. Maybe the other consoles have decent prices, but if you are looking for NES games, use caution or get hosed. For the record, I'm a resident of the area this guy who owns the place claims is full of people willing to pay his high prices, and it's sad that he's ok with not getting the business of those of us who have common sense, and paying the bills based off purchases of those who don't know any better. You don't have to rip people off to pay the bills, and if you do, you need to find something else to do. I know knobody is forcing people to spend their money there, but the pricing is predatory. If my grandmother walked in and bought a boxed copy of GI Joe for $269+, when you can get an identical contidion one elsewhere for $150, I'd be furious. If he is being honest that his inventory isn't coming from eBay or at resale prices, then he is marking up his inventory 500-1000%, which should be a red flag for anyone. This guy needs to learn that just because you "can" do something, doesn't mean you should. You'll never build a customer base by ripping them off and hoping they don't notice. This isnt the kind of business we need in this city, DO NOT SHOP HERE.
