  Helpful check in staff who had recommendations for food. The room was cozy and clean upon entry. Location is good for several wonderful restaurants. The only off putting thing for me was the incredibly lucky entryway. Every evening there were large groups causing a lot of raucous noise.

  The Renaissance New Orleans Hotel is a small hotel in the arts district. It's just a five-minute walk to the convention center, roughly four city blocks. The hotel is very posh but understated. The beds are comfortable and the rooms well-appointed. I had a king suite that faced the street. There was a door to an adjoining room in my Suite. The bottom of the doors left an inch gap to the floor. Every time someone in the other room breathes heavily I could hear exactly what was going on. Now I'm hard of hearing, and I could still hear every word of every conversation happening in that room. I made a comment to the front desk and they told me that there was nothing that they could do. I took a bath towel and rolled it up and stuck it under the door and that fixed the issue for me. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but they have a VIP snack room with drinks, fruit, instant oatmeal, and small snacks available with your room key through the day. I thought that was a very nice touch.

  Room and conference spaces were comfortable and well appointed. Food from banquets team was really good. Staff was friendly and efficient, with the exception of one woman over the phone just before my stay. Folks moving banquets food and equipment were respectful of our conference, and made sure we had what we needed. Only complaint was loud guests in hallways and lobby (my room overlooked an internal courtyard area) that kept me awake one night until the wee hours. Would stay here again.

  Room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. Location is easy to find and valet parking was easy to use even though it was 39.95 for 24 hours. The front desk was very helpful. I forgot my rental suit in the room and they offered to take the suit back for me. I myself was paranoid and promptly returned to the hotel to get the suit myself. Only bad thing I have to say was that I could easily hear people walking down the hallway when we was in the room.
