  Location is great. Staff are a hit and miss as far as the hospitality goes. Parking is $69 a day after what you pay for the rooms. Use the first floor bar as the staff are much better than third floor patio bar. Raised, is a waste of your time due to rudeness of the staff, not the waiters our waitresses, but the front doorman/manager or the bouncers. They are not there to create a memorable moments but to be insulting and absolutely rude! Their miserable life shouldn't transfer to you, but it does since they don't know why they are there and our presence is the reason they have a job. There are plenty more fun places to go to in the area instead of wasting your time and money there.

  This is a very cool hotel. I reserved room 2524 for my wife's birthday in early May and wasn't disappointed. The staff is very accommodating. Everything was terrific from having a bouquet of flowers placed in the room, a fan for sleeping ,and extra towels the way she likes them. The only issue I had the whole stay are with the towels. They are VERY course and need to be updated to a softer feeling material. Other than that... a great stay! Would definitely return.

  We came for our honeymoon and were greeted before even going in with smiles from the doormen who took care of our luggage followed by a very respectful, helpful young woman at the desk who provided us with a map that showed the walking distance to such city attractions as Willis (Sears) Tower, Navy Pier, Grant Park, Buckingham Fountain, Millennium Park (The Bean), Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, and Hancock Observatory. We had such a good time we even extended our stay! The whirlpool and indoor pool were awesome plus they provided delicious water with different fruits in it everyday. Overall it was a wonderful location with outstanding service!

  The restrarant of the Renaissance hotel with it's circular room overlooks the Chicago River. The views were breathtaking. The atrium with the display of ornamental lights was gorgeous. The food was good. The cocktails even better. I really enjoyed my lunch at the Renaissance.

  Went for St Patty's day. Great location for access to the river. Lobby bar makes good drinks and has a decent menu. Raised (rooftop bar) has great city views from the patio. Will definitely return.
