  My first experience with locksmith and it was a positive one. This happened on Saturday. I made a call and within 20 minutes a locksmith was on his way. Apparently the phone number is linked to Docs Locksmith in Bethesda who dispatches locksmith that might be nearby the location to the job site. David is polite and competent. I asked about an estimate on the phone and there is $15 for him to come on site and take a look at the lock. Then he tells you the options and let you decide. Very reasonable rate.

  $149 for a 1 min job to unlock a door is ridiculous. His reason is emergency service, b.s. Called him at 12:20pm and he didn't show up till 2:25pm.

  We had the need for a locksmith to come out to our new Cleveland Park office to upgrade the security of our three exterior doors. The folks from Reliable Locksmiths were professional and did a really super job. Reliable Locksmiths keyed all our locks to just one key, which our staff really likes. They reinforced the metal plates on the door frames with longer screws to give us better security against forced entry. The Reliable Locksmith tech recommended window bars for the lower windows which we had them install and now we feel much better about our security. We did not feel it necessary at the time to put bars on the second floor windows but we are now considering calling them back to do just those windows in the back that are obscure and which could be easily reached with a ladder. We have no hesitation in recommending Reliable Locksmiths to anyone needing locksmith services or window bars. Their prices we feel were reasonable and their service was professional. Give them a try! We feel you will be happy with their service as we were. Vincent George Washington, DC
