::I was very disappointed in my experience tonight shopping here. This place has a great selection, far better than any of other REI locations in Denver. However the customer service tonight was very poor. While I understand it is Memorial Day Weekend with a sale, it took me 15 minutes to even get the attention of a sales associate. I was ignored by a couple of reps prior. Ididn't get the friendly service that I would normally expect at a REI. When it is a busy weekend, they need to properly staff so that every customer gets the proper attention they deserve.

::Fantastic customer service even during the mad rush of the sale. Josh helped me pick out my first road bike. He took the time to carefully review details pertinent to my situation and goals and then fit me to a bike that I'm super happy with -- can't wait to start tri training! Brian in the bike rack dept was similarly helpful in selection and ordering a new rack. Thanks, guys!

::Very big intimidating place. The staff are very helpful though. I bought my Keen shoes from a different place and sadly they have not lasted for 6 months. Had I bought them at REI I could have returned then today and got a new pair. Now I have to wait to see if Keen is going to cover them. I bought a pair of Keen sandals and now know that if I have any issues over the next 12 months they are covered. Shop REI.

::Scott was great. Very helpful in selecting climbing shoes. He had a wealth of knowledge both objective and subjective. That they have a climbing wall to allow trying out climbing gear is a huge plus. And they have a one year return policy for worry-free purchasing!
