::I went here with my boyfriend for Valentine's day and it was some of the best food I have ever tried. I got the scallops with oxtail risotto and a side of brussels sprouts that came with this mustard sauce. It was absolutely amazing my mouth is watering just thinking of it, it's like I can still taste the food! My boyfriend got the NY dry aged steak which was also phenomenal, I can't wait to go back and eat there again!
Strider Strafe
::We eat here every time we're in Portland. Never disappointed. The menu always has what we like and more. ! Fresh, locally grown and prepared and cooked very well. The bar is probably the best in Portland. Modern with that good down home touch. Like the city. Red Star has been a go to for us over 5 years now.

::I really like Red Star but every time I go I wish they had a larger menu. Lovely atmosphere. Always great service. Great for business lunch or romantic dinner. Would be fine stars if the menu was bigger.
2nd Drawer Down
::Went for a visit with some old friends. The place was packed for happy hour. We missed the specials, but split a wonderful pork loin and enjoyed some nice local on tap cider. Food was a bit pricey, but delicious and worth it. Someone ordered scallops that were devine. It was just a short walk to visit the big Christmas tree. Fun night out!
